Moving update, Blue Ruin outtake, and the winner is...

My family and I have arrived safely and perhaps even a bit soundly at our new home in Savannah, Georgia. We made it here just in time for our first tropical storm, although Beryl's been easy on us. Between the rain and unpacking, I haven't had much chance yet to explore my surroundings, but it's pretty here and the people are friendly. I definitely plan to visit downtown, the beach, and more after I've settled in.

Thanks to rest stop phone checks, prescheduled posts, and buffered Tweets, I was still able to semi-participate in the Erotic Romance Scavenger Hunt over Memorial Day weekend. Contest hostess Miho Li hasn't announced the grand prize winner yet, as I'm sure she's been slammed with entries, but I'm pleased to announce the winner of my individual giveaway is Sarah M. She read my Blue Ruin outtake during the hunt and correctly answered my trivia question. ("What street does Cameron live on?" Answer: Wildflower Drive.) Congrats to Sarah M., who wins one of my backlist titles of her choice!

And yes, you read that right: my exclusive excerpt was a never-before-seen Blue Ruin outtake. It's the car ride from the end of BR4, but written from Dusty's POV. In fact, all of the participating authors shared exclusive content, never posted anywhere publicly before, so although the prizes are no longer up for grabs, I highly recommend taking the blog hop for some fun, free reads.

I'm still taking a semi-sabbatical from both the Net and writing, but I did want to check in. I thought of some new story ideas when I was packing up the old house, and devised some other creative ventures while driving through the South, so I think my brain cells are recharging and that I might have even grown some fresh ones. As I often advise, stay tuned.
